Our Level Two 6 week Beginners Course is the next step towards deepening your understanding of the practice of yoga.  This course is great for those keen to add Yoga to their current fitness regime. It is educational for students getting back into, or refining their practice.  Or if you are a new Yoga Teacher, this course will be a great mentor program.

Our 6 week program is designed around the understanding that learning something new takes time.  We recognise that we don’t always have the same time free each week and also the benefits from practicing something new repeatedly a few times gives a great chance for it to become a lifelong habit.  Therefore for your convenience we offer not one, but a number of classes each week so your investment has a better chance of seeing changes happen.  Over 6 weeks we will help you build greater confidence and knowledge for a solid foundation and progression in yoga. Yoga is not a religion, but rather a practice of personal inquiry and self exploration.

The teachers are all fully qualified, highly trained and believe not one way of practising yoga suits everybody, so we work to help you find your way.

Proper Exercise (Asanas)
Yoga poses help develop a strong, healthy body by enhancing flexibility and improving circulation. Each week the focus will shift from Standing postures to Balancing, forward bends and hip openers, finishing with backbends and inversions. With the right support and techniques even the seemingly scary postures we avoid become your favourites.

Proper Breathing (Pranayama)
Deep, conscious breathing reduces stress and many diseases. Proper breathing helps you the full benefits from the yoga postures.

Address, Parking, & What You Need to Know Before Class

Address: 30 Wagner St, Clayfield.
Cnr Vine St and Wagner Rd, Clayfield.
Clayfield Yoga Studio is top floor of the Clayfield School of Arts Building.

Parking for Clayfield Yoga Studio
Parking is available on Wagner Street and Vine Streets. There is also ample parking on Liverpool Road, which runs off Wagner. If you park near there and it’s a 2 minute walk to the studio!

Be Prepared:
  • Arrive 10-15 min early to your first class so you have time to get familiar and settled.
  • We have all the equipment you will need at the studio, just bring a small towel and water bottle.
  • Wear comfortable clothing that is easy to do exercise in.
  • Eat at least an hour before class, but a little snack or smoothie is great for low blood sugars.
  • Drink 1 – 2 glasses of water 30 min before class to make sure you are hydrated and alert.
  • Full payment is required prior to commencing
  • Due to the number of classes on offer new students can continue to book in anytime after start date.
  • Payment is for this course only.
  • With a heavily discounted rate this course will have no make up classes, credits (after 5 days) or refunds made available.
  • Course is fully refundable 7 days prior, or can be credited to another class pass or event 5 days in from course commencement date.
