Welcome to Clayfield Yoga Studio, here’s some guidance on how to get started.
I absolutely love your classes even though I am nowhere near the standard of the class. You are an exquisite teacher and in the few months that I have been coming to Clayfield yoga, I have found increased physical strength as well as a renewed mental discipline. Thank you!!
– Lorraine
I have been coming to Clayfield Yoga on and off for many years. It’s such a beautiful studio and all of the teachers are wonderful. I just wanted to say thank you for creating such a welcoming, relaxing, and special yoga space.

Which Class is suitable?
We recommend having a look at our full class descriptions and recommendations.
If you have done yoga before then we suggest going on an adventure and exploring the different classes, meet our teachers and the styles they share. Choosing one of our Intro Passes makes for an affordable way to get to know our highly trained teaching team.

Beginners Yoga Workshops
At Clayfield Yoga Studio, our senior teachers recognise there is quite a lot for a beginner to take in.
Each workshop will teach how the postures help release pent-up tension. Learning how to refine your sensory awareness and become sensitive is how you become better skilled at being adaptive and resilient. The relaxed rhythm of breathing helps you to reflect rather than react, to soften rather than harden. From a calm place, you see more clearly rather through a foggy stress headspace. We learn to rest and let the pressure go that comes from dwelling on the past or worrying about the future, which most people don’t realise they are functioning from.
Tanya and Alana will share with you ways to adapt the postures, start or deepen a meditation practice, and find long-lasting peace and tranquility from better breathing practices and philosophy
