Restorative Yoga

A 2-hour journey unraveling into a deep state of rest, releasing stress. Restorative yoga is a nurturing practice of deeply supportive yoga asanas held for an extended period of time with the assistance of props while laying down on a mat. These asanas are a vehicle by which you begin to get out of your own way and allow the intelligence of your whole being to facilitate healing on a very deep level. Emerge fresh, energised and empowered by the knowledge of how to incorporate restorative asanas into your yoga practice.

Your teacher Marian Cavanagh is a registered Relax and Renew Trainer, certified by Judith Lasater (one of the world’s leading authorities in restorative yoga) and is passionate about sharing this nurturing, healing practice. She specialises in long, deep, quietly held poses. She has been teaching yoga for over 10 years, and restorative yoga for over 6 years, with hundreds of hours of restorative teaching practice.
