Wisdom, Kirtan & Vegan Feast
Featuring Guest Speaker Devamrita Swami
Are you looking for more than just the “daily grind”? Join us for an immersive evening as we explore the intersection of ancient Eastern philosophy and modern living.
We are honored to host Devamrita Swami, a world-renowned author and teacher who has spent over 40 years traveling the globe sharing the science of Bhakti Yoga. Known for his wit, captivating storytelling, and profound depth of character, he has a unique ability to make the ancient Vedic scriptures feel personal, practical, and transformative.
What’s on the Agenda?
- The Wisdom: An engaging talk on the philosophy of Bhakti Yoga and how to find internal clarity in a chaotic world.
- The Music: Experience Kirtan—a powerful, call-and-response mantra meditation that clears the mind and opens the heart.
- The Feast: We believe spiritual food is part of the experience! Stick around for a vibrant, multi-course vegan dinner.
A little bit about the speaker:
Born in New York in 1950, Devamrita Swami studied Economics at Yale. Shortly after graduating, in 1972, he met his spiritual teacher Srila Prabhupada. In the following years he became a serious student of Srila Prabhupada’s teachings and took the vow to become a monk in 1982. He has since travelled the world teaching the philosophy of Bhakti yoga and how to become the best version of ourselves. With a unique ability to analyse modern problems through the wisdom of the essential Vedic texts such as the Bhagavad Gita, Devamrita Swami challenges audiences to understand that the quest for genuine personal and social upliftment is rooted in precise and comprehensive knowledge.
Be sure to RSVP as there will be limited spaces and you do not want to miss out on this event! We are so excited to introduce you to him!
