Restorative Yoga and Sound Meditation

Get ready to embark on a journey of deep relaxation and inner balance.

Experience the soothing sounds of live instruments and mesmerising Mantras with Tina Summers, a Yoga Teacher, Vocalist, and Sound Healing Guide leads you through a Restorative Yoga Practice.

Restorative yoga is a gentle and relaxing form of yoga where you use props like bolsters and blankets to support your body in passive poses. It is therefore about deep relaxation and relieving stress. It’s great for anyone, even if you’re new to yoga as it helps you unwind and find inner calm.

Sound has the incredible power to uplift our frequencies. Sounds can shift us from lower-energy vibrations, such as guilt and fear, to higher-energy frequencies of love and joy.

This combination of movement and sounds aims to release and harmonise your energy, leaving you feeling at ease and peaceful.

Tina will help you transition from the alert beta state to a deeply relaxed alpha state. As you let go further drop into the meditative theta or delta state, akin to the rejuvenating depths of deep sleep.

This form of Yoga, known as Nada Yoga or the Yoga of Sound, incorporates mantras, sound, pranayama (breath control), and mindfulness. Letting yourself immerse in the gentle vibrations of the instruments help release any stagnant energy and foster inner harmony. Sound isn’t just something we hear; it’s something we feel throughout our entire body. Sound resonates through the fluid-filled channels in our eardrums and the waters within us.

Whether you’re a complete yoga beginner or a seasoned practitioner, this Restorative Sound Bathed session will melt away stress and nourish your body and soul.
